Scientific periodicals of Karazin University cover a wide range of scientific fields, in particular: biological, geographical, geological, public administration, economic, historical, medical, pedagogical, political, psychological, sociological, technical, physical and mathematical, philological, philosophical, chemical, legal. There is a specialized website “Scientific Periodicals of the Karazin University”, which functions on the basis of the Open Journal System publishing web platform which aims to provide the appropriate level of representation of the University’s scientific work results on the Internet.

More than 90 issues of periodicals are published annually, which is the result of the work of 23 divisions of the University. Currently, 39 specialized periodicals of the Karazin University in 17 branches of science with 41 specialties are included in the List of scientific specialized publications of Ukraine, in which articles and results of dissertations for obtaining scientific degrees of Doctor of Sciences, Candidate of Sciences, and Doctor of Philosophy can be published. The DOI (digital object identifier) is assigned to the materials, which makes the scientific publication visible to professional search engines, facilitates its search by scientists from all over the world, and allows tracking of its citations.

The University’s publications are indexed in the leading universally recognized scientific and metric international databases, in particular, Scopus (East European Journal of Physics, Biophysical Bulletin) and Web of Science (Visnyk of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, series “Geology. Geography. Ecology”, East European Journal of Physics).
